Value for money car

I wanted to write a review about Fiat Linea for so long, hence, finally here we have. I am delighted to inform everyone out there that I am the proud owner of FIAT Linea Petrol for last 6 months.

I was in singapore, just waitiing eagerly to come back to india and buy a new car for me. I searched all the blogs and the latest write ups on the newly lanched cars in India. There was much hype for the next generation honda city and the discounted old honda city. I had almost mad my mind that my next car would be Honda city until I saw Fiat linea in of the reviews. Car market had a feeling that Fiat would launch Linea as D-segment car against the likes of Toyota Corolla and Skoda Octavia. There was a segment which was keeping their finger crossed that if linea is launched in sub 8 lakh category then they would grasp a linea.

How did I choose Linea?

In the beginning, I was really confused as to what should I choose among the cars available in market. Whether should I go for masculine SX4 or newly launched advanced Honda City or proven Verna or the newly launched Linea from not so well established Fiat stable.

I started my journey with a test drive of linea diesel car in gurgaon along with my cousin, who has better knowledge about the cars. My cousin was not satisfied with the power of the car. Subssequently, we test drove the petrol version of linea to differentiate both these version. Petrol version seemed to be better in power terms due to powerful engine. However, petrol engine came no where to verna engine which runs with huge power. Then we test drove Linea second time in order to console myself that linea is not better than verna or sx4. However, I could not throw linea out of my heart due to its beauty, sleek design and stylish body. The new honda city might have more power and engine capaicty but it does come anywhere near to Linea in stylishness and handling. We could see lot of people were rushing madly behind the honda city despite its premium pricing. No offence for the people who believe honda is perfectionist, even, i do.

But there has to be a conscience in pricing as honda sells city at a price higher in india than that in west.

One can see a lot of latest feature such as Blue-me feature on the steering wheel of linea(only emotion model)

Finally I decided to buy linea after balancing other factors. I have recently completed 4000 km with an average mileage of 12.5 km/l. The mileage seems to be pretty good as I was not expecting more than 11 km/l.

Linea has a style n space to lure anyone out there!
