I have a top model of linea, driving petrol variant. I, like others, fell for the looks of the car and bought it instantaneously. {remember cadbury ad - people not being themselves eating a cadbury, they need help!!}
Well, I am here to help people who are only going for its looks - the car is sub-optimal. The car feels like a cart when driving in 1-2nd gear. it just doesnt have a good pick up. and I am not one of those who fancy "fast and furious", a regular office goer who drives around 20km to city and back. so pretty much one of you.
The mileage is its BIGGEST problem. It is under 8kmpl for my car. It is around 2500km old. the service center guys have checked it, acknowledged the problem but are not willing to work upon it. they say, the mileage will improve post servicing. Now, I wasnt told this when buying. the sales guy said the mileage is around 12-13 in city conditions. even their online ad says optimal mileage.
About the space and comfort, its a very good car of course with nice interiors and everything, but yeah, the AC looks sub optimal too. delhi summers - 40 plus temp outside and the AC goes bust. Overall, I am not happy with the car and probably a honda city would have been better choice.
