3 Months Carrying T-Jet

I was looking for car and Fiat Linea t-jet met the requirements. I haven’t taken it to service and touch wood has no issues with the car as such. I have finished 2.5 months and have done 3000 Kms which includes a trip to Munnar and Back to Bangalore.

I was also very apprehensive about buying a Fiat but post speaking to fiat owners in my friend circle decided to take a leap of faith.

Pros:

T-jet engine is super refined. Overtaking on Highways in awesome. The torque available just propels the car forward to close the gaps.

Car is very stable at high speed attained by me till now(Not Crossed 130 Kmph).Sense of security because of the tank like built quality. Cornering ability of the car is also amazing and pushes you to carry more speeds into corners

Stopping power with 4 discs all around is also great. The car is long and makes me feel that I am driving a D-segment car instead of the C-segment car.(Ego massage).Automatic this automatic that.

Cons:

Lack of leg space at the rear compared to Honda, Nissan, Ciaz.(biggest negative for me, since its the longest car in its segment)

Suspension noise is more than what I expected from a C-segment car.(Cant compare as I have not tested other cars extensive to understand the norm. This was my expectation).

Steering-petals to driver position not the best.Mileage in City conditions not up to my expectations. 8-9 Km per liter in Bangalore traffic.Highway is ok at about 13-15 Kms per liter.(New car, hoping it will improve post first service). Overall a great car if Rear Leg Space is not your key requirement.
