Had purchased a Linea Dynamic petrol version in Aug, 2009. Since the time of purchase, I have been facing problems with the Air conditioning system. The AC does not do the required cooling. I had sent the car to the workshop in Delhi-M/s Techno Automobiles at least 6-7 times but am yet to have the final solution. The workshop people never seemed to have detected the problem. Even Fiat engineers from Pune have not been able to identify the issue.
In the process, they have changed the filter, sleeves, ECU, but nothing seems to have worked. My written complains to the CEO and customer care have drawn a blank. The car which is still under warranty now lies in the workshop. In the course of my last discussion, it seems that Linea Petrol cars have a design defect as the compressor seems to have been built as per Italian conditions. It is tripping before reaching optimum cooling either due to acceleration or initial pick-up. Even on smooth roads, the cabin temperature does not go down to comfortable levels.
Not to speak of the stress that I am currently undergoing after making a purchase decision that I will always repent. The car is still under warranty period. Thankfully, the dealer had provided me with a spare car to take care of my to and fro travel in the extreme summer conditions at Delhi. As for my car, I am still fighting with no hope in sight.
