Got my brand new Fiat Palio Stile 1.3 Multijet SDX 3 weeks back. This car was my second car along with my 7 year old Santro which is still looks like a new one without any problems even after 60k kms,
I was looking for car with better pickup and more spacer and strong enough for small accidents . I had Test drive for Gets1.3 and Honda city and impressed with both. Gets because it suits my pocket and car porch, where us City for its resale value and Mileage.Didnt considered swift even though it got the same engine for its ugly look and lesser boot and luggage space and wider diamension.
*Test Drive:
* After seeing the new add in TOI I went to concorde just to check the car, My God I liked its looks it was a sexy cherry red car for display . Had a test drive with Sandeep to my surprise on the same day. I didn’t felt its that noisy that time and its A/C and Pickup and the strong body feeling made me to book the car immediately
Rating: I can give 9/10 for this
*Car delivery:
* So Finally on April 8th Brought my car from Concorde Motors, at KR Road, Bangalore, who were friendly and courteous initially but played at the end by not delivering at the promised day and it took 4 days more and spoiled my week end plans-
I am much surprised for not providing the basic accessories freely like floor mats and mud flaps.what to say they didn’t even gave me a Key chain:-). The number plate they gave with the car was of 3rd class, it even made a scratch mark in my car.
Rating: I can give 3/10 for this
Suggestion:
*Please check with other dealers before booking as I came to know Prerana motors in Bangalore was providing basic accessories free with the same car. Also make sure you bargain for Interest rate if you are going for a loan.
*Looks:
* Its good even though the new front grill is not that appealing, no doubt better than Skoda Fabia and Swift in my eyes.

*Space& Comfort:
*Ok!I can say in par with Gets and far better than Swift. I was looking for a car around 4 m length to suite my car porch its a perfect for me there.It’s rear seat can accommodate 3 adults easily.
I love the thud sound when closing the doors which make me feel its Big strong car.The build quality is pretty good, and even after driving for 40+ kms on some seriously bad roads
there hasn’t been any rattling so far.Shock absorbers are doing a good job for sure even in bad roads.
Rating: I can give 9/10 for this
Power:
This is the strong part in Fiat multijet, The Vehicle start like heavy vehicle with a vibration and sound at least in my case but once you are started moving with A/C on you may wont notice the sound, This was what happened with me during my Test drive .They should do something to reach the expectation of their claim for silent engine.In any gear you slightly press the accelerator you can zoom. I found this vehicle is too good in Highways for overtaking other Vehicles. I have to Switch off the A/C and lower my gear for Santro. The other good thing is that no difference in power when A/C is On.
Rating: I can give 9/10 for this
Interiors:
Not up to the expectation. They used cheep plastics which don’t have any finishing, The seat cover fabric used is light in color and easily becomes dirty.
Position of Fog lamp controls and other switches is confusing.
Rating: I can give 5/10 for this
Boot space:
Good, almost like Gets and the height of the seats and position is better than Gets. Enough space for the driver and in rear seats 3 adults can sit quite comfortably too .
Rating: I can give 8/10 for this
Mileage:
I got 15-16 approximately on an average, for City+ high way driving before First service with 95% A/C ON most of the time with 4 adults and a kid.
Rating: I can give 7/10 for this
*Problems:
*Some problem with the automatic off for the indicator. The turning radius is more.Sound is a problem, I hope it will be reduced after First service.Clutch and Break pedal position will make you crazy initially making your shoe locked in between.Breaking is good still ABS is adivisble,
Experience:
After the Delivery we have planned a trip to Kerala via Salem the road was bad and I could not cover the distance with the calculated time. I met with an accident Near to Trichur at 1 A.M as there was Vehicle in lying in the middle of the road and could not find it from a safe distance as there was a lorry coming in the opposite direction with high beam. I was in 70-80 kmh around and applied the break from a distance of 8-10 meters, but it skidded for a little distance and hitted the mini lorry.
To all our surprise the engine was still on, I really don’t want to come out to see the damage. Finally we noticed only the number plate is damaged and because of the low quality number plate provided by Concorde Motors there is scratch and cut on the bumper. I took my Car to RF motors in Eranakulam to check my car. It was wonderful experience there, I was very much delighted by the way they are supporting the customers, the modern machineries and the way they were handling things. They have shown me the bend behind the Bumper for the iron rods which I have to replace. Thank God other than that there is no complaints at all. I am sure if it was a car from maruthi, I may have to replace the whole engine itself.
I have decided to the repairing along with my First service at FR motors itself, in Bangalore I heard we have to book for service before a week itself.
So finally what I can say is that , you can buy this product If you want a safer car for your family and if you dont like the Shape and wider diamension and lesser boot space in swift. You should also aware that the resale value is not good as Maruthi!
*First service;
* I have done my first service at RF Motors cochin.not very wonderful experiance as expected, I am afraid they have done the real service or not.the only thing they have put is 2 papsrs in front seat to say we made it clean.the same old junk says.i went for Antiresting coating for underbody and and for doors.it costs 4.7 K.After this I had a long trip back to Bangalore through Wayanad, The hair pin bends are easy to handle with my cute style.I had a nice experiance. Mileage this time was 18+.
