Got to the wheels of this dream machine(Palio stile slx - furnace red)) in Oct 2008. Since then life has changed! The looks and interiors are fabulous and so is the space inside.
I particularly love the double barrel headlamps which is unusual for a hatchback car. I ve driven from Bangalore to Chennai and back thrice in this machine and it absolutely rocks. Even tough the initial pick up may be a bit low, u get into 4th and 5th gear it just zooms!
Bought it from Concorde Motors, Mysore rd, Bangalore. Even though the initial service was not up to the mark I am satisfied with the work done. Initially the dealer did not give me a duplicate key which is crucial in case v lose the original, but later they took responsibility and changed the whole lock set for the car and gave me new keys. Later on, there was a problem with the wheel alignment which I noticed pretty late and as a result the front tyres were worn out to the rim! But again concorde motors took responsibility and replaced both the tyres free of cost even though it is not covered under warranty.
Mileage is around 12-13 kmpl (without ac) in Bangalore city conditions and highway it gives a cool 16kmpl. Overall I feel it is the best car in its segment because of its pricing and comfort levels.
