\I’m not writing a review here but since I wanted somebody to help me deciding on which car to buy, I would much appreciate your advise. Moreover, I didn’t know which section to post this query, so I posted it in review section.
I’ve evaluated many cars and variants based on my budget.Finally, I’ve narrowed down upon Getz Prime 1.3ltr and Palio Stile 1.1 or 1.6ltr .
Test driven both these cars. Palio 1.6 ltr was not available for test drive but I would prefer buying this version if I’m buying Palio. I’m a auto-enthusiast myself who enjoys long drives almost every weekend. Personally, I had the driving pleasure more with Palio though I agree Getz has better interiors. 9 out of 10 people are advising me to buy Getz for the reason of after sales service and customer friendly Hyundai.
Moreover, I did not have a pleasurable experience when I visited Manipal Motors(Near Cauvery Theater) Bangalore for Palio. The executives were least bothered as I was looking for a Fiat car in their showroom and the only guy looking after Palio sales was not available.
Even for test drive, I had to request them to send a TATA sales guy to come along. This guy did not know anything about Palio and just gave me a brochure and asked me to leave my contact details. It’s been more than 10 days , nobody has ever bothered to call me since then. This worries me as I don’t know how they would help in after sales service.
In a nutshell, I feel I’m in love with someone but forced to marry someone else. I may have to end up buying Getz though I love Palio. However, I still don’t want to give up on Palio. Can anybody help me on which dealer in Bangalore is better for Palio? Also, how is the service backup for this car? Also, 1.1 ltr or 1.6ltr - which is a better buy?
