I agree with everyone who has given positive and good rating to the petra/sienna,
because, I have hired this car outside India, in Tunisia, from a car-rental company for driving to office and seeing the country side, and am way too happy with this car’s performance.
The dealer ran out of the conventional Renault Clio (Logan in India), so he offered me to keep this car for the time being. The Sienna I got was also 2 years old.
But, after using this car for over 2 months now, I have realised that this is ofcourse a great car, . The car has given such a solid performance such as great handling at high speeds, great acceleration and pick-up. Thanks to the smooth and less busy highways of this country, I dared to drive my Sienna upto 180 km/h, and this car was still so steady and stable, the steering was still not shivering, and the car was well in control.
The best thing about the Sienna is the driving experience. Its a pleasure to drive this car, due to the greatly engineered power steering, smooth handling and superb acceleration...there is no fatigue even after a long drive, and even though the interiors are not the best, but, they are the most optimum.
I have driven lots of cars in my life such as Esteem, Swift, Zen, Wagon R, Honda City, Opel Astra, Hyundai Accent etc, but, personally speaking, Sienna has outperformed all these when it comes to overall experience of owning a car.
It doesnt make noises on bumpy roads as well..and the mileage is superb (12 in city, 15 on highways), and parking is so easy, as its bonut and back are compact, and due to less turning radius, I feel like parking a M800.
This car is simply great...am thinking of buying it when I come back to
India. SO, will also support all who want to buy a car in the 5-6 lak price range, even though it does not have the best of looks.
