3rd Generation Driver of Fiat

I drive a 1965 model FIAT bought by my grand-father. It is the first model of FIAT in India that had front-hinged doors. The Premier Padmini is the Indian iteration of this model. The car was an import with an Italian Engine.

Today,   the car has been modified a lot due to lack of parts and has a 92 model engine in it. I use radials instead of slicks.

I have shifted base to Noida and wish to bring this car here. I would request members who maintain a FIAT at Delhi / Noida to sound me an advise regarding:

  1. The body work needs a lot of work - chasis onwards

  2. The original seats of my car came with coil spring benches, padded with jute sacks. I wish to get them repaired or in extreme case, get them changed to the moulded seat base of later Premier Padminis’

  3. The front windscreen needs to be changed as it has scratches.

Please do help me with a reference to your mechanic for my repairs. The vehicle has more sentimental value than the price of maintaining it.

Thank you.
