Dream come true? UNO???!!!

I bought this vehicle thinking about the great turnaround by this company in India after much maligning by Premier. After the initial euphoria died of my proud possession the nitty gritties of maintainance dawned upon me and the sordid saga continues.

The prime reason is the poor dealer network (only 3 in mumbai). Getting an appointment is half the job done.

Spares are too expensive, data of which was or is unavailable or not considered while making a purchase generally.

Warranties are scrutinised only when one ends up paying through your nose. Parts such as fan belts which are to be replaced after 50, 000km are not given a warranty of a single day! Fuel pumps which should work for atleast 4-5 years cost a bomb when repairing or replacing.

Add ons at the time of purchase are prohibitive with the dealers, cheaper with other dealers which are not car specific! Also there is no indicator about the life of the battery, one can get stranded in the middle of nowhere, as it is most essential for starting a diesel vehicle. The engine does make a lot of noise always, no matter what!

I feel a petrol engine should be considered for those who want a quiet ride!
