VERDICT:- Only an average movie with some good crew performances and too much ridiculous plot and action sequences.....there are lots of flaws in the movie, please do give me wahtever ridiculous things you find in Fida through the comments section.

INTRODUCTION

I had been watching Hollywood movies - Van Helsing, Panic Room, Sleepy Hollow etc and I never wanted to see this movie, but as my cousin wanted so bad to see it, I agreed. Then I found out that there is notthin special about this movie except for some highly unncecessary twists, turns as well as some idiotic plans.

But it is still better than some other craps recently released as it gets us interested in it on occassions even if it gets boring and even ridiculous at some ocassions. A bit improvement would have made a great movie, but its not the case.

THE MOVIE

From the trailers and the talks on this movie, a lot were expected from this movie by me. There had been lots of talks about the Shahid Kapoor - Kareena Kapoor pair in the movie (He looked too young to suit her lover, Fardeen looked right).

’’Aaja Ve Mahi’’, ’’Nazar Nazar’’, ’’Maine Jisko Chaha’’, ’’Dil Mere Naa’’ and ’’Aaj Kaho Sanam Jitna’’ are the songs I saw on the cover of Audio CD. I have heard the first three and they were good even if not great.

THE PLOT

The plot is too exaggerated and too unreal just like the movie’s action sequences. Anyway, a twisted plot! The movie starts off with an online robbery leading to the loss of a large amount of money, thanks to the extremely brilliant, but wicked Vikram (Fardeen Khan).

At the same time, Jai (Shahid Kapoor) is enjoying his life along with his best friend Soniya (Kim Sharma) who loves him, but he considers her only as his friend and waits for his dream girl who thinks is Neha (Kareena Kapoor) and tells her that he loves her.

But she is not ready to love him. He says he will do anythng to prove his love and she asks him to die, which he tries to do using sleeping pills, but could not succeed, leading to Neha’s sympathy and love which leads Soniya to London when she finds that the one who she love is in love with some one else.

Later, he finds that his love is in big debt and to pay it, he decides to rob a bank, but then changes his idea to robbing Vikram who catches him and says that he will give him the money if Jai becomes the hacker and surrender to the police.

He does so, but later finds that he has made the worst mistake in his life ie their love story was surely being planned by some one else - you know who he is. He runs away from the police folllowing an encounter with the gangsters. We can see him getting shot and fall into water from a train.

Is that the end of our hero? Will Vikram be able to enjoy his life? What role will Soniya have to play in the process? Will the gangsters or police ever realise and find out the real culprit?

What will be running in Neha’s mind? Does she have even a bit of love in her mind for our hero? Not to forget - Will you like this movie or will you get twisted in the stupidic twists of the movie? It depends on rthe viewer and I can’t be so sure about it.

PERFORMANCE

Shahid Kapoor looked really good as he has improved a lot from his first movie Ishq Vishq. Even if she looked younger than Kareena, their pair looked good on the screen. Kareena looked simple as usual in her acting as well as some superb dialogues and facial expressions were good at times.

Not to forget that Fardeen Khan really was excellent. He did the negative role with such an ease that I am wondering about his acting ability. Kim Sharma looked gorgeous even if she got a bit fatter than her first film, Mohabbatein. I liked her dialogues very much. She looked good in the small role which she made perfect. The one who played the gang leader was good too, whatever be his name.

CONCLUSION

’’Not all love stories have a perfect ending’’ - thats what they say in advertisements and trailers. The question is whether this thing will have a perfect ending in box office or will it fall into the trash can. The theme was not bad, but the way they gave this much twists and turns into it without any need was too bad.

Anyway, it isnot the worst movie, and so there is not much harm in seeing it if theres nothing else to see or you like twists and turns. I have to agreee that I liked the movie a bit, but sometimes I even thought about kicking the one who wrote the script. Finally I cam to the concusion that I will see a movie after some huge thoughts.....
