This is an excellent media player, especially when mated to the FiiO AM5 headphone amplifier. It plays audio files with great definition, detail and clarity in a natural balanced way. I have been in a state of WOW playing music on this device, it is like a first time hearing the music. I have found instruments and details, that make the music new to me and it has been played on computers and other players, many times, before. It is a top line device with many features and does have a learning curve to using it, but this is to be expected with a device of this nature. But the quality of the X7 and its performance will reward your efforts. Battery backup is very good.
