Its understandable that institutes like FIIT JEE, AKASH etc are a business & they are there to make money. No issues on that.
But at FIIT-JEE, its extraordinarily highly, money oriented mindset. Their approach is like this. First they identify best students of their center & will put them in one section; fully focusing on them. These students then become their marketing material when they get selected in JEE.
Other students who could not get into this first group are put on second priority. There is less focus on them & they are just a money churning machine for FIIT JEE.
So, they get marketing from first category students, they give them discounts. While the average & below average students pay full fees & help FIIT JEE manage their expenses.
If your kid is even above average, don;t opt for FIIT JEE. It puts too much pressure on kids, specially for the classes like 6th to 9th. Sky will not fall on you if your kid doesn;t get into IIT. Don;t put too much pressure on kids.
