Filmfare Awards is treated to be the most respected and prestigious awards in the Entertainment and Bollywood Industry. It has a rich presence since decades and surely a trend setter. Looking at the success there are today many awards which has came up in last recent years making a whole different ball game. Not only this, but today we can see even Television awards have emerged.
’Devdas’ dominated the awards bag this year. It was again Shah rukh Khan who once again was scene on the screen grabbing the award but this time with his new companion’Ashwarya Rai’. Shahrukh has been atleast nominated almost every year since he became hit in the industry. This award is the 11th in his piggy-bag. Sometime it gives a feeling that the whole industry has been more than kind enough to this person.
Well to talk about the last year best movies and actors, in my opinion it has to be’Company’ and’Ajay Devgan’. I feel Ajay would have been the right choice not only for his extra-ordinary performance in company but also another admiring acting in’Deewangee’. Again company had a direction which was holding the movie till the end.
The same goes for’Kaante’ but surely it was below in ranking as far as getting the awards are concerned.
In the actresses category’Rai’ is somehow justified because of less competition.
All this questions can raise the trust and openess of the’Filmfare Award Jury’. Think of it! After all we are the major players in this whole picture.
