I love animation. People I come across usually confuse full length animation features with cartoons , which I find highly irritating.
Pixar and Disney launched a new era in animation with their fully computerized approach. It was bold move , going against the traditional approach, but Toy Story happened and rest as they say is history.
Animation isn’t the only aspect of these features which attracts me. Their storyline and screenplay just amaze me. No wonder, Finding Nemo was nominated for best screenplay at the Oscars. The imagination of the human mind is on full display as we are taken to the depths of the ocean and treated to fish like we have never seeen before.
I found some aspects of the movie to be utterly amusing. The barrier reef depiction, the East Australian Current, the vegetarian shark, truly delightful. The forgetful fish Dory, is one of the best characters. The whole adventure leaves you with a smile , and I think thats what movies are supposed to do to you. Finding Nemo is a classic.
I am waiting eagerly for thier next release , The Incredibles
