When the chef spoilt the cooked....

We landed up in Fiorano one fine evening thinking we will relax and enjoy the truly European experience. The table was already booked by us with a prior call to the retaurant but still we had to wait for about 15 min for the same.

But then after so much "please sit here", "ohh no.. this is booked for someone", "wud u mind sitting here?" we got a chance to at least sit in the restaurant.

We ordered house wine and started with Aspargus with cottage cheese ordered by my veggie friends. We did not order NV starters.

The wine was picture perfect and we thought it was worth the wait and the money.

But then the Asparagus came and I literally started laughing - 5 Asp twigs wth some cheese on it. I thought I am really going to be starved here so I better order some thing NV which is filling.

But we thought we will order the main course. So we ordered. I remember lasagne and some spaghetti dish (veg and NV).

But then I decided we will go for a NV starter. I ordered. The attender came back and said that the cook is saying that we should have ordered starters together and now it is difficult for him. Also we have only 20 min to finish our main course which had not reached our tables yet.

I was in ful mood to spike everyone up and did a little it but we did not want to spoil the evening so did not say too much. But the attender kept pestering us about the time.

By the way there was a European group who were sitting there well before we had reached outside and were still enjoying when we were fuming over a chef who was asking us like a MOM to eat fast. In my own country I am being told by own people by someone foriegner to eat fast as people are waiting. Nobody would like it... wud we??

We did not.

Everything turned sour. The lsagne despite it’s good taste was’nt enjoyable anymore.

I still regret going there by paying so much, about 3500 Rs and a mental torture which cannot be measured.

I am never going there this is for sure.

Regards

Yash
