Fiorano has authentic Italian food. The cheeses are superb (must try: platter of assorted cheeses), as are the grissini, the soups and pasta sauces. I haven’t sampled the Tiramisu, but I am encouraged by the rest of the food and I will definitely go back for the Tiramisu. For those who say this offers zero value for money (people like spappu or the reviewer on koramangala.com), all I can say is these people have no idea about good food, Italian or otherwise. It is a somewhat sad reflection on Bangalore that this city has such a high percentage of people who are supposed to be widely traveled and are yet so very parochial when it comes to their culinary habits.
The place is expensive, but the price is justified by the quality and nature of the food. One additional advantage of the high price is that it keeps out the unruly and noisy crowd of college-goers and yuppies.
