First Flight Consignment lost, Pathetic Service!!

I have sent one gift item to one of my friend from Bangalore to Hyderabad. There was no update for 3 days. Then on my approach I came to know that it has been delivered to some wrong address. Customer care in Bangalore or Hyderabad was not reachable over phone.


I managed to get hold one of the local office and got a new number for Hyderabad office. To my surprise they accused me that I may have given the wrong address. On my retaliation; they agreed that the packet has been misplaced and some one will come back to me before EOD. But as expected there was not a single intimation for next 2 days.


After 10 days of struggling and pain; I got Hyderabad manager’s number. She assured me that the case will be closed within 1 day. But the story continues and I am still waiting for the case to be closed.On my call, she told that the Packet has been lost and I can claim for insurance. Now I have spend time and money again to complain and follow up. I am not only dissapointed but also irritated by the careless behavior of such a Logistic company.


Read the responses that I got from their Offices; suggest me whether I should cry or laugh?




  1. Shop owner: Sir, I have sent the courier to the First flight local office. My job is done.




  2. Bangalore office: (After 2 days for continuous call); Sir, We have sent the courier to Hyderabad and our job is done.




  3. Hyderabad office: (After 6 days): Sir, Packet has been delivered to Company with Sign and seal!!! (I have never sent to some company, and cheers to that company also :-))




  4. Hyderabad office: (After7 days): Sorry Sir, Packet has been delivered to wrong address. You must have given wrong address. (3 Cheers!!). We will look into this and promise to deliver by EOD.




  5. Hyderabad office: (After8 days):No Response.




  6. Hyderabad office: (After9 days): Manager - It happens, Case will be closed by EOD.




  7. Hyderabad office: (After10 days): Manager: Did not pick my call.




  8. Hyderabad office: (After 11days): Customer care: Sir, You packet has been sent to Chennai? (My God!!), Sorry sir, we will come back to you after chekcing.




  9. Hyderabad office: (After11 days): Manager: Oh Sorry Sir.. (Remember, I was not a SIR on the 1st time, but today I have became a SIR).. Packet is lost. Please send scan copy of the Invoice, Declaration form, Price details, Signature and send it to us we will proceed for Insurance.






Most funny one; Manager informed that some other packet is lying idle in some branch, that is having Medicines and Greeting card... Is that yours? Oh MY GOD.. Think of the poor fellow who has sent medicines for some one and that is now lying without destination address...


Cheers to First Flight. Hope no one ever have to use this flight. Or may be you will land up in some Alien planet... Pray for me so that atleast I can get my money back...
