I had booked a parcel on https://Firstcy.com website(on 23rd Nov 2011), a website which deals with baby products. The product was dispatched on the same date from pune and it reached bangalore on 24th nov 2011. A courier person calls us on 25th nov and tells that the parcel would be delivered by today and asks us to be at home. We waited till evening for the courier guy, but he does not turn up. Next day(26th Nov) again he calls up and says the same, that the courier would be delivered by today. Again the same thing happens. He does not turn up. We had to leave all our work and wait for the courier person. This was so much inconvenience for us.
Today is 28th Nov, but we have still not received the parcel. The FirstFlight website is so poorly maintained that on checking we see that the address we have given is insufficient. But we have been staying at that address from the past 5 years and we have received multiple couriers on that address. With this experience we would never want to go again with firstcry as they have the courier service with FirstFlight. Never ever send any parcel with FirstFlight. They will give you nightmares and cause lot of trouble.
Also the customer care number never works. After continuously trying for 3 days, we finally got connected with the customer care number. But the lady named Vidya is so rude and horrific. She does not even have any courtesy to say sorry and thankyou. She speaks to you as though you speak to your maids at home. So pathetic that you feel sorry for booking the parcel on FirstFlight.
