I have shopped at this bookstore a few times. Most of the times the service is pathetic. There is no response to emails or site feedback forms. They would not even tell you if the book you’ve ordered is indeed available.
And then they would not even tell you they dont have it, For months together you simply have to wait and in the end if they accept they dont have it, they wont refund, They’d only make a credit on your account and then you get into that same vicious cycle of ordering with them.
My most recent experience was I ordered 6 books, waited for the confirmation, it took a couple of days, and that was it, never heard anything from them . The ’track order’ page of ’my account’ has become a static webpage since I ordered and has never changed. I wrote to them atleast 6 times. If you drop a stone even into a well you get a splash as an acknowledgement not at firstandsecond.com
