Studying abroad isn’t cheap and nor are the books. When I was a student in the United States I realized that one of the major expense of studyign was the books. All books are pretty expensive - they really hammer the wallet. The quest for cheap deals on books made me come across Firstandsecond.Com.
The huge collection and helpful customer as well as editorial reviews was pretty impressive. But so were the prices!! They were really cheap. Some books even had fantastic deals as much as 70-80% off the list prices while most were prices atleast 20% cheaper than regular retail - a steal, I must say. Altough everything (the collection, the reviews and the website itself) looked very impressive - I was not so sure wether my payment would be secure or if my order would arrive on time since it was going to be shipped internationally and since the company was not local.
But since I was on a saving spree I went ahead and ordered the books I needed anyway. They had a secure mode of payment they also promised a certain timeframe for the order to be delivered. I was extremely surprised when the books I ordered arrived pretty much around the said time period and also that they were in perfect condition and neatly packaged. My overall experience with Firstandsecond.Com was excellent and I would recommend them to anyone local or overseas.
The one and only thing that I was not happy about the website was that it was very slow. I hope that will be fixed over time (soon enough!!).
