I ordered Harry Potter books as a gift to someone in India for like Rs.2500 . The books were NOT DELIVERED at all. I have sent many many emails to their customer service and no replies. I guess no one even reads the emails. I usually shop at Amazon.com, but this time I went to this cranky slow site because I wanted to avoid the high international shipping costs in amazon. But I have ended up losing more money here. There is no phone number on the website to contact them. The only way to contact is emailing, for which I get no response. Some of you have written reviews that you have contacted them, could you please post their customer service phone number or something.
This is the first Indian website I shopping at. It gives me a very very bad opinion about Indian websites in general. First of all I placed an order on their website. I got no email confirmation, so I did not know if my they received my order or not. I sent them an email, no response. After a week, they updated my account status on their site saying ’order is Shipped’. I waited for a week eagerly, but it was not delivered. So I sent them another email and no response. Then I called Aramex courier, the shipping company used by firstandsecond.com and gave them my order no. They said everything is ok, they will ship in a couple of days. But nothing happened. SO I called them few other times. Finally they said my order was sent Bombay back to the sender because the address was not clear. Since then I am emailing firstandsecond.com to see what happened to my order. No response at all. God only knows where my order is, if my order ever existed or maybe the whole website and the courier is a complete scam thing.
