‘ FIRST CRY’ The worst e commerce site

First Cry is definitely the worst e commerce portal possible. Please be cautious before placing any order. Learn from my experience and decide yourself.


I ordered for mamy poko diapers qty 04 amounting Rs 1500 on 10 Aug vide order no 14640203NMV21A2744 with full advance payment. The products were supposed to be delivered by 14 Aug 14. There was neither delivery nor any call from first cry or their logistics partner first flight till 16 Aug 14. Their on line tracking link on site takes u to first flight site, and there also there’s no update after 12 Aug 14 and even on 17 Aug 14 it shows item dispatched on 12 Aug 14.


Accordingly I called their customer care no 18001234545 on 16 Aug 14 that is 02 days after the expected delivery date! That’s an equally bad experience. The first cc rep transferred my call to logistics dept after holding the call for almost five mins even the logistics rep couldn’t update me on the present status of consignment. I was conveyed a routine sorry and assured that items will be delivered in next 24 hours. When I inquired about their policy of compensating the customer in case of huge delay in delivery, my call was transferred again to another cc rep, for which my call was again put on hold for 3-4 mins . after this I was told I will have to speak to their supervisor for this…so my call was transferred for the fourth time. Again a holding period 3-4 mins and after all this I was told that they don’t have the authority to connect to supervisor and the best they can do is to arrange a call with the supervisor accordingly I was assured that I will get a call from their supervisor within 01 hour. I insisted for a complaint no and on repeated request I was allotted a complaint no 201408069862.


Today more than 24 hours have passed by and I have not recd call from their supervisor. Today on 17 Aug 14, I again called their customer rep and they told me its Sunday and non working day for first flight, hence they can’t update me on status of consignment. Again they have assured that their supervisor will call me but no use …I m yet to receive any update on undelivered consignment or a call from first cry or first flight ….


So friends learn from my experience and stay away from first cry I have been using other leading e commerce site no one is even close to first cry as far inefficiency is concerned.
