This review is to share with you guys my last shopping experience with FirstCry Online store. First all, I got stuck at the payment checkout as there were no COD options for a lot of cities so I left my items in the cart for a few days. Then on second trial, I could luckily see COD option available for my city and placed my order.
The online tracking of shipment was not active, so I could not track my shipment. I got multiple messages on my phone that the shipment will be delivered today and tomorrow but it kept being delayed. The multiple text messages were very annoying.
I had ordered toys and apparel for my nephew. Toys were fairly priced whereas the apparel was quite expensive as compared to other online stores. There was issue with locating right sizing option too.
When the customer care was contacted, I was informed that I will be informed via e-mail but I did not get any response.
The quality of the product was nice, the packaging was fine too.
The delivery was not great at all.
The app is alright to use, the checkout page needs a more user-friendly interface.
The site and app are reliable but service is trash.
The most annoying thing is their frequent mailers and offer updates; I get about 5 of them in a single day. Maybe that money could be used to invest and train logistic partners or customer service staff.
