I am a fresh Engineering graduate and I belong to Karikudi, Tamil Nadu. Being coming from a village, I came to Chennai in search of job opportunities. I am having thorough knowledge of all web based technologies & SEO. My room mate works for Accenture in Digital Marketing field. Through him I understood that there is more scope for digital marketer jobs. He also told that since I have good web knowledge this would be apt for me.
I started looking out for a good institute, when I happened to come across FITA Academy. They have their offices at Velachery, T.Nagar and OMR. I visited their Velachery office. Their receptionist or career counsellor invited me and told me that they are the No.1 institute in Chennai and they have trained many people. They also told that they are in No.1 position on Google for a very long time and no one can beat their position. She told that they are experts in digital marketing.
Since she said they are in No.1 position in Google and they have maintained that position for long time, I thought they are the best. I came home and searched for FITA Academy and found many complaints by students online. I was very curious to find out how they were on No.1 position in spite of having so many bad reviews., As I know SEO my interest deepened to understand how they are maintaining that. Having done a thorough research I found that they are indeed cheating and misleading people.
They have created multiple websites for each IT course they are providing. For e.g. 1. For SAS Training they have a website sastraininginchennai.co.in/ 2) For Angular JS training they have a website angularjstraining.in/ and like that they have around 27 websites for 27 courses over and above their actual website fita.in wherein they have mentioned all the 27 courses.
In these 27 websites, they have also made a page for Digital Marketing Courses and doing SEO they keep ranking in top 5 Google results for keyword "Digital Marketing Course in Chennai". So whenever anyone searches in Google for that particular keyword only their institute will come in all 5 pages along with few other genuine institutes. This way students and professionals get cheated as they think each and every web link is a different digital marketing training company.
I have found out all the websites and present it below, so that students can make thorough enquiry before joining any course with FITA Academy. I have also written to complaints board and the same is yet to feature it on their website.
