Fitness one gym is no different from all the modern health clubs with lots of modern machines some bright paint and loud music. What makes it different is that it is the most expensive health club in Bangalore! The personal trainers are not certified to an acceptable standard like the ACE or ACSM. In fact even the fitness director himself Ajit Shetty is not certified to ACSM or ACE.lol.
For those interested take a look at this hyperlink there are only these 39 trainers certified by ACE https://acefitness.org/profreg/Default.aspx and Ajit Shetty is not one of them. There was only one Shankar Basu attached to fitness one, who has now left them.
People like Shetty attend a few seminars and pretend to be personal trainers to celebs. You can be sure some one is getting injured along the way and will stop exercising.
Now as most of us know, the business model of these health clubs is to take your money in advance in the hope that you never return to train frequently. It typically targets the coporate fatsos and housewives with more money than brains. But there is a sucker born every minute especially in India so new members join in the hope that they end up looking like movie stars or fitness models.
This gym is certainly not recommended for the serious body builder( as their weight room is under equipped), weight lifter( there are no platforms - so you drop the bar in a clean it will damage the floor!) or for the competitive sports person. Fitness one has neither qualified trainers nor the equipment to be a serious training facility, despite their media hype.
