This movie is a classic; deserves a lot more recognition and appreciation, this movie is based on Charles Dickens famous novel 'Great Expectations', yeah.the legendary classic, the direction of this movie is it's main highlight, with exceptionally good views, and the whole movie carries a sense of nostalgia, one needs have a poetic view of life to better understand the movie, so many great messages are delivered through this movie, some life changing messages, concealed for the viewer to decipher for himself, because this is a part of English literature and is highly subjective, but the reason for this movie to end as a faliure was it was released among the wrong audience, Indian audience to be exact, where hungry people just watch the movie for item songs, senseless fights, and movies like bahubali robot, carrying no meaning or message become all time hits.this is very disappointing, that true art is not valued any more and cliche'movies or say undeserving movies are taking all the credit.
