The film, which is an adaptation of Charles Dickens classic novel Great Expectations, features Tabu as Begum, which is based on the character of Miss Havisham
The film performed consistently over the weekend after opening low and did well in overseas markets too. Turns out that the relationship of the fans ofFitoor with the film will be a long-term love affair and not a forgettable one-night-stand.
It was a cinematic masterpiece. A film that sticks with you long after watching it. Perfect acting, sets, dialogue. I cant pick something that I did not enjoy.
Its disappointing to see that so many people didnt understand or appreciate the depth of this film. Extremely disheartening to me that mindless comedies are such hits in the industry while films such as Fitoor dont get the recognition that they deserve.
