Best of the rest.....of 90's.2 05..

Each Era through which Bollywood has gone through has given us excellent actors.Whether it it is Dilip Kumar or Raj Kapoor of the 50’s/60’s, Dev Anand or Rajesh Khanna of 60’s/70’s or Dharmendra or Amitabh Bacchan of 70’s/80’s.

Each of the actors mentioned above are evergreen Legends & I don’t think it will be fair nor it is possible to choose five best ever actors of Bollywood! It is very unfortunate that today there are only a handful actors in the present

generation whom we can claim will remain in our memories in the long-term.Thus I have decided

to classify the best actors of the present generation, that is those of 90’s......

~~~~~~~And the Award goes to....~~~~~~~~~
1.AAMIR KHAN.
There is no doubt that Aamir Khan is the most finest actor of the present generation.He has
managed to uphold his reputation as the best actor even after 15 years of his career! Whether it
is Qayamat se Qayamat tak , Dil , Jo jeeta wohi Sikandar , Hum hain rahi pyaar ke , Baazi, Sarfarosh,
Dil chahta hai or Lagaan, Aamir Khan has always pleased his audience.Aanir is very selective in
choosing movies and this has enabled the latter to always deliver hits! Very few of his movies
have flopped, the only ones I remember are Mann & Mela.Mann was an excellent film with an
superb performance by Aamir, Manisha & Anil Kapoor but unfortunately it did not work at the
box-office.His latest project ’The Rising’ is the most awaited movie actually due to it’s
original story and good starcast.Let’s hope that Aamir Khan delivers another good movie and
saves us from being tortured by looking those dozens of new fools who claim themselves to be
actors but in reality are not even worth selling ’pani-puri’ at.....wherever you deem the best!!
2.SHARUKH KHAN.
First let me tell you that I am no great fan of this actor....instead there was a time when I
was a great fan if him.When SRK appeared in the early 90’s in the main-stream movies after his
success in t.v serials his performance was simply superb.He acted in many beautiful movies like
Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman , Deewana, Zamaana Deewana, Darr among others.It was in the mid 90’s with
Dilwaale Dulhanya Le Jaaenge that SRK climbed ladders to the top most position of the Indian
movie industry.Then came YES BOSS, Badshah, Phir bhi dil hai hindustani & Chalte Chalte where SRK
performed as one would have expected him to act.But the reality is that SRK is now sinking.It is
now high-time that he reviews the movies that he chooses to act.He has already had many flops
like Phir bhi dil.... & Ashoka.Let me be frank that Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi gham,
Kal Ho Na Ho, Dil to pagal hai and Devdas were nothing but over-hyped movies which simply stated
that SRK is now ageing & sinking.Many of you may not agree with this fact but truth is always
bitter!!! I reserve my opinion on Veer-Zaara as I haven’t watched it but Swades looks promising.
3.SALMAN KHAN.
An actor who has never diappionted his fans and whose performance has always been appreciated
even if the movie is a flop, Salman Khan is undoubtedly one of the best discovories of
Bollywood during the 90’s! Salman has the credit of working in one the greatest super-duper
hit Bollywood movie in the entire history of the Indian cinema, that is Hum aapke hain Kaun.
Salman Khan’s movies, Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, Pyaar kya to darna kya, Hum Saath Saath Hain,
Judwaa, Andaaz apna apna anb Biwi No1 among others have all been appreciated by Indian movie
lovers.I can confidently say that there will be no Hindi movie fan who will ever say that Salman
Khan is not a good actor.....Keep it up Sallu......
Now as far as the 4th position is concerned, I think Hritik Roshan may be considered but I won’t
rank him 4th as yet.When Kaho naa pyaar hai was released, many said that the monopoly of khans
over Bollywood was over!!! But unfortunately this was not true.Hritik Roshan’s all forthcoming
movies.....remember....Mission Kashmir, Fiza, Mujhse dosti karogey, Lakshya’Main prem ki deewani hoon,
Yaadein among others were all super flops.His role in K3G was totally sidelined and it was SRK &
Amitabh Bacchan who received the credits for the success of the movie! After 3 years of KNPH
came Koi Mil Gaya in which Hritik did a superb performance & received various awards.I personally
feel that it was KMG that was the real good performance by the actor and not Kaho naa pyaar hai.
KNPH was just a good movie with an ordinary story, some good music & acceptable performance by
all artists.Hritik was over-appreciated for this movie just because people were simply fed up by
the dominating of Bollywood by the Khans! H.Roshan still has a very long way to go before he can
the Numero Uno position.......
5.There are many actors who fit this poistion.All of the actors below have some excellent movies
under their name but for some reason or other never managed to reach the to spot....
-Sanjay Dutt: Munnabhai M.B.B.S, Vaastav, Khalnaayak.....
-Ajay Devgan: Pyaar to hona hi tha.....
-Suneil Shetty: Ehsaas, Dhadkan.........
Conclusion: All these new actors (as they claim to be...idiots/fools/langoors...) that we are
seeing nowadays(Dino Morea, John Abraham, Vivek Oberoi etc & etc) are simply nuts in front of
the Khans.They do not have have any skills or abilities to reach not even No 100 forget
reaching top 10.....Thus it’s the KING KHANS who rule the Bollywood!
