Five Best Bollywood Films of 2003
1) Munnabhai MBBS
Simply a classic in Bollywood. Honestly, Munnabhai is the best film of 2003. It has everything to appeal to everyone. From comedy, to heart-rending scenes, it had everything. Sanjay Dutt was simply at his best, while Arshad Warsi revived his career with this film. Boman Irani was simply excellent in this film, however, the movie lacked one thing, which was Hit music (thanks to Anu Malik).
2) Tere Naam
Simply a classic love story to ever come out in Bollywood, and this was Salman Khan best performance. Tere Naam deals that the greatest villain in this world is destiny. If destiny brought them together, then destiny can break them apart. The music from Himesh was simply super-hit music, the best-selling album of 2003. Easily, a classic film with a heart-rending climax.
3) LOC – Kargil
Make my words people, LOC Kargil will be a classic in future days. I can’t believe that this movie flop. Anyways, a superb film from JP Dutta. Everyone did a good job from this film, however it was Ajay Devgan, Abhishek Bachchan and Saif Ali Khan that stood out. Music was great, and the song Ek Saathi will be remembered.
4) Pinjar
Another superb film that flopped at box-office. The people of India should learn to watch quality films like Pinjar. Pinjar is a superb film with an excellent plot. Urmila gives a memorable performance, while Manoj Bajpai simply rocked in this film. Pinjar is a film people should keep on their home shelf.
5) Baghban
At the age of 61, Amitabh Bachchan still rocks. And to add the icing of the cake, Hema Malini makes a grand return to films. This story is good, and very emotional. Backed up with good music, and other great performances from Salman Khan, the movie deserve its Hit status.
