Tamil cinema has many good films to its name. A lot of them has bagged national awards. It has a lot of remarkable climaxes and ive come here to share the 5 best climaxes of my choice.
Here we go..
1.Naayagan:-
This is the 1st Tamil movie to have made into the top 100 movies of all time. it portrays the story of a boy who kills a policemen and escapes to Mumbai. Kamal would’ve portrayed the character in the best possible way. The climax scene where the kid asks him “r u a good man or a bad man” received critical acclaims and would leave us in tears. When the case is dismissed against him, one wouldn’t expect the mentally unstable son of the cop whom kamal had killed before to kill kamal. It’s a real tear jerking scene. This is the best climax according to me.
2. Pithamagan:-
This is a wonderful story from bala. Vikram and surya would’ve portrayed 2 contrasting roles in that movie. Vikram wouldn’t have any dialogues in that movie. Yet he did his best and bagged a national award for that. They portray 2 best friends in the movie. Surya would’ve been killed by the villain. Vikram wouldn’t show any grief as such. Seeing this, surya’s friends would throw vikram out of the house. Vikram would then plan seek revenge and he will kill the villain. In the climax he would show laila the villain suggesting “see I have bet the guy who killed your lover and my friend”. Vikram would like to convey that he loves surya very much. It’s a highly sentimental climax where vikram would acted exactly like a beast in anger. He won the national award for the same.
Typical Bala movie. I rate this is one of my al time favorites.
3.Manmadhan:-
This is a thriller from simbhu. The movie revolves around a guy who kills girls who cheats the guys. Simbhu would’ve portrayed it well beyond expectation. In the climax the court releases simbhu after it accepts his statements and finds out that he’s not the actual murder. When he comes out, Jyothika would apologise to him and express her love for him. Simbhu would instead turn down her offer and would say that we shall be friends. Then comes the real story. He would’ve lied to the police. He’d then show us the flash back, with a different twist. He had a brother who would kill his girl friend for cheating upon him. He would then come to his brother(another simbhu) for help. He would actually ask him to relax, but the younger one would commit suicide. On seeing this, the elder would cover his brothers death and start killing girls in the name of his brother thus wanting to protect the guys who get cheated by such girls. He’d feel that none should suffer what his brother went through. Actually he would’ve told the police that his brother is the murderer. Only he knows about his brothers death and so does god. He ends up saying that only god can judge him and none other.
It was a truly amazing story.
4.Sethu:-
This is my all time favorite movie. Vikram came to limelight with this movie. Bala came to filmdom with this click. Vikram would be a college student. An arrogant and a rough and tough guy who would live with his brothers family. He’d fall in love with a girl, who doesn’t love him. He’ll some how win her heart. Till such time, the movie would be a pleasure to watch with loads of action and fun. The 2nd half would be totally contrasting to the 1st. Vikram would be beaten up few rogues and as a result, his brain would get damaged. He would be sent to an asylum, where his brain injury would be healed by therapies. Once he regains memory, he would go in search of his love, but she would’ve committed suicide as she would be forced into a marriage with another person. On seeing this vikram would go back to the asylum. This indicates that he feels that a life without his lover his worse than living in the asylum. His brother, sister in law and friends would try to convince him, but he’ll go back. This picture had no takers for a long time. When it was finally released, the film went on a low for 2-3 weeks. After proper promotion and reviews, the film picked up speed and became a huge hit. This is my all time favorite movie.
5.Minnale:-
A fun filled movie, Minnale finds a place in my list with a great climax. The story revolves around 2 guys Madhavan and Abbas, who would be college mates. Both hate each other. Madhavan then falls in love with Reema Sen. She would’ve been engaged to Abbas. Knowing this, Madhavan will meet Reema posing as Abbas. Reema wouldn’t have seen Abbas and believe madhavan. Both will love each other and when the truth unveils, she would start hating him. In the climax, Abbas would be in the church to exchange the wedding ring. On seeing her sad and seemingly not interested in the wedding, he would ask Reema to think over about the marriage. Meanwhile Maddy would be leaving to Singapore for a job. Abbas would come there and surprise Maddy by handing over Reema to him. He would say that Reema loved Maddy more than she did Abbas. One would be expecting such a twist in such a good movie. All the more, I enjoyed watching this movie.
I know that all the movies in this list doesn’t have great climaxes. I didn’t want to repeat what others have already specified. So I’ve presented my choice. Now its with you people to rate this.
