Being a great fan of Bollywood movies alwayz enjoyed watching movies, listening songs, reading gossips, but here I would to like write my own views on my favourite comedians.
Comedy is always an integral part of movies whether it is Bollywood or Hollywood and we all know many Bollywood movies got success just coz of the comic sequences, scenes or dialogues in the movie. Hence we can say that comedy is the most essential and attractive thing for the movie fans.
Friends it is a fact that all the famous n renowned comedians of Bollywood had some bitter experience in their childhood or previous life.they had grown up with lack of resources but they proved their talent in their life and become man of
substance. Hats off for these talented people as they made us happy beside of their sad life or whtever conditions they had faced in their life.they always put smile on our face and make us feel better.
So here is my small list of five best comedian of Bollywood.
Mehmood - the so calledLast emperor of Comedy or theBhaizaan of Bollywood - my all time favourite coemdian and it is fact that he was best in his performance in his overall career.he proved his ability in each n every role played in
all his movies. He was known & appreciated for playing comic roles in Hindi films. He worked in over 300 Hindi films in a career spanning three decades.Recently DD has dedicated whole sequence of his nice n lovely movies on its sunday slot at 12 oclock noon. Padosan, Kunwara Baap, Bombay to Goa, Garam Masala, Johar Mehmood in Hong Kong, Sadhu Aur Shaitaan, Main Sunder Hoon, etc etc to name a few of his alltime superhit movies, the list is very large. He also has also directed some movies in his career - Dushman Duniya Ka(1996), Janata Havaldar(1979), Ek Baap Chhe Bete(1978), Kunwara Baap(1974), and produces movies like Sabse Bada Rupaiya(1976), Do Phool(1973), Padosan(1968), Bhoot Bungla(1965). This proves that he was one of the most talented person of Bollywood.
Kishor Kumar - yesss Kishor Kumar, dont get amazed by this name in this list. since I am wrting my views so need to add this name in my favoirite comedian list.though he was the most versatile personality of Bollywood but he also was best comedian of his time. He was a busy person in his whole career - whether it is music, lyrics, singing, direction, or production.you can find him excellent in each n every field.he was brilliant comedian with excellent timing and dialogue delivery with comic actions & gestures. All of his comedy movies are unforgettble and worth to watch anytime. Kishore Kumar or Abhas Kumar Ganguly was a famous Bollywood film playback singer and most versatile actor of Indian origin. Although known
primarily for his successes as a singer, he also was a noted actor. His comedy work included Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi(1958), Half Ticket(1962), Padosan(1968), Baap Re Baap(1955), Pyar Diwana(1973), Hungama(1971), and Badthi Ka Naam Dadhi(1974). As a straight actor he had roles in films such as Naukri, Bandi, Door Gagan Ki Chhaon Mein, Door Ka Raahi. In addition to his talent he achieved notable successes as a lyricist, composer, producer, director, screenwriter and scriptwriter.
Johny Walker
I think there is no much need to introduce this famous actor & comedian of Bollywood, acted in more than 300 movies, most associated with the film director and actor, Guru Dutt. His real name was Badruddin Jamaluddin Kazi, son of a mill worker. He had tried his hand at almost everything, including working in the Bombay Electric Supply Transport(B.E.S.T) buses as a conductor.Johnny Walker after the famous Scotch whisky brand of that era. Johnny was even cast as hero in the ego-boosting Johnny Walker(1957), with the irony being that he was a teetotaler. Johnny Walker is remembered as a very humble person who always kept a low-profile, even when he was the peak of his career. Some of his famous movies are - Baazi, Aar Paar, Mr & Mrs 55, CID, Chori Chori, Pyaasa, Naya Daur, Madhumati, Mere Mehboob, Anand, Chachi 420.Johnny is most remembered for his part in the movie, C.I.D where he sang the famous song -Yeh Hai Bombay Meri Jaan. His impeccable style lent a new meaning and respectability to the genre of comedy in Indian cinema.
Paresh Rawal - Best Comedian of todays. comedy starts with him end with him in todays bollywood movies.its worthwhile to let you remind about his movies. Some of his recent hit or average movies are Hera Pheri, Maalamaal Weekly, 36 China Town, Deewane Huye Pagal, Garam Masala, Bachke Rehna Re Baba, Hulchul, Aitraaz.
Golmaal, Yun Hota To Kya Hota, Chup Chup Ke, Phir Hera Pheri are some of his forthcoming most awaited movies.
Whether he is a kind-hearted landlord Baburao Ganpatrao Apte of Hera Pheri or blind bank robber of Aankhein, he alwayz put lots of smile on the face of viewers. He also won the Filmfare Best Comedian Award and the Filmfare Best Villain Award. He
has also been awarded the prestigious National Award by the President of India for his roles in Sardar and Tammanna.
Kadar Khan - Another gem of Bollywood, excellent dialog writer, famous for his best dialog delivery & timing, so quick in his acting that the viewers cant imagine what he will do in his next scene.brilliant actor, already proved his talent in
all his roles played in various movies - whehter it is villianous kind of character or comedy.but he will be more remembered for his comic roles played in various movies.his tuning with the star actor Govinda is excellent, they had given so many hit comedy movies in their best time. Kadar Khan is also a talented scriptwriter and versatile actor. He was known more for his comic roles as father in David Dhawans films along with Govinda or Salman, he has also done many character roles in past years.
I am not interested in writing the names of lead actors of Bollywood, many actors have given best comic performances in many of the movies but here I am only need to write about the comedians or the persons famous for these kind of roles.
Some other names I would like to mention here - Bhagwaan Dada, Utpal Dutt, Asrani, Johar Mehmood, Jagdeep, Deven Verma, Shakti Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Johney Lever, Kesto Mukherjee, Junior Mehmood, Raghubeer Yadav, Laxmikant Berde, Satish Shah and some new comers like Rajpal Yadav, Vijayraj, etc have entertained or still entertaining us.
