In Hindi movies u find very rare comic songs.In past years there were some good hilarious songs .But may be becoz of the present hectic life such funny songs are becoming very extinct.Sometimes u find something like’Ande ka funda’ and’main tuzko bhaga’ laya or any typical Govinda song.But I am sure they cant even come any closer to the older lot.
Here is list of my 5 favorites, not in any particular order.
1)EK CHATUR NAR KARKE SINGAR
of course this will always remain on the top of this category.What a song composed by RD and equally sung by Kishor and Manna.When the two opponents(Mehmood & Kishor)start yelling’ Ayyo gode. chatur bola.gode bola’ U just cant stop laughing.
2)MUTTOKODI KAWWADI HADA
One more combination of RD and Mehmood.I think this lyrics are of tamil words.I dont know the exact meaning and that may be the reason why this song is a comic one.
3)MY NAME IS ANTHONY GHONSALVIS
Everybody will agry that Amitabh is a great comedian also.In this movie Amar Akbar he has shown his comedy sense very well.Here he used for the first time his rapid fire english speech which makes u laugh.
4)SAR JO TERA CHAKRAYE
Johny Lever is considered as today’s best comedian but he can not be compared to the old comedy king Johny walker.There are many funny songs picturised on this versatile actor.But this Telmalish song is greatest.
5)PYAR HAME KIS MOD PE
satte pe satta was very hilarious movie.This song is like that.
