Cricket is a game of 9 to 10 countries.But this is a game of uncertainty. There is so many legends in this field of sports, so it is not a very easy job to find 5 best cricketers. I’ll just try. In my list i’ll not take Sir W.G.Grace, Sir don bradman, Larudd, Jeff tomson etc etc because I never saw them.I am just making my list about those whom I have seen.
list of 5 is not very sufficient.
1)Kapil Dev
This indian allrounder has taken 434 wickets in world test cricket.He was very useful batsman for his country and one of the best bowlers in his time.
Indian Captain Saurav Ganguly told before this world cup that if he had one Kapil In his side then he would easily win the cup for his country.This fact reflected in the world cup final against the aussies while the regular bowlers of india lost their line and length and gifted the match to the aussies.Kapil has been elected as the best indian cricketer of the century by Wisden.
2)Sachin Tendulkar
Played for mumbai, Got chance in the team in perhaps 1988 or 1989.Since them the constant performance is making him the best batsman in the world everyday.He is the highest scorers in the one dayers, and is going to become the highest scorer in the test cricket.Ask Kewis who is the best batsman. They’llsay , ’’SAchin, Fleming’’.Srilankans ’’Sachin, Jayasuriya’’, Aussies ’’sachin, steve’’, West indians ’’Sachin, LAra’’, ........one name is common.
I think I don’t have to say much more about this living legend.Every body in the cricketing world knows about his efficiency.
3)Glenn Mcgrath
Aussies are now the unbeatable team in the world.This man Glenn Mc grath has the 25% contribution for it. Consistency, wicket taking ability has made him a legend in his contemporaries.
His economy rate in one day internationals are great.
Or in test cricket he is also the leading bowler for his
country.Stable action or variety of swing is the main weapon of glenn mcgrath.
4)Adam Gilchrist
There is another aussie in my list.Because Wicket keeping is the essential part of cricket.
and there is very few wicket keepers who made wicket keeping an art.The best is Adam Gilchrist.Tall, handsome figure and very safe hand behind the wicket.Almost goes for everything.
Adam is also one of the best opening batsman in the onedayers in the world.He is very useful and mendatory part of any team who wish to win over the world.
5)Jonty Rhodes
Jonty is the legend in the fielding. There is no ’’impossible’’ word in his dictionary while he is fielding.He has made fielding an art.
Tremendous flexible body has done the trick for him.The south african is one of my favourite cricketer.
Many will rise their brows as there is no brian lara in my list.But I said at first that list of five players is not very sufficent.and u’ll find I have taken the players from every aspect of cricket.All rounder, Batsman, Bowler, Wicket Keeper and Fielder.Brian is also very favourite cricketer of mine but where is his place?
