Remixes trend is started like Disco craze started in 80s. remixes are always well come but the videos made on these remixes are creating a curse. Kanta Laga, Charti Jawani, etc are example of such vulgar videos. I suggest that remixes must be made but the videos must be appropriate and at least watchable. I have liked only few remixes which caught my attention and I really love them most are just garbage.
- Jiya Beqrar Hai
Undoubtedly my best favourite remix. The song is combined with a music piece of the song “Ghar Aaya Mera Pardesi” and with combination of two golden hits the song automatically becomes a super success once again. This was the best song of 60s and due to its superstitious melody people loved it right from its invasion.
Originally the song belongs to Movie Barsaat. Legendary music by Shankar Jaikishan and Shalindera is lyricist. We must give a great applause to Shankar for producing such an everlasting composition and the wonderful arrangements by Jaikishan which are still alive in hearts of people and in young generation it is sold like hot cakes. Lata Mangeshker sung the song.
- Aap Ki Nazroon Ne Samjha
Bally Sagoo has created his image in form of a remixer and he is among the best. This song is very well remixed. Another reason that I like is that in this remix the English wording interruption is absent and that is a success factor.
Madan Mohan is known for this song and this was his success by giving haunting melodies. Lataji sung the song with her special qualities and at that time she was on peak.
- Ghar Jaey Gi
A very nice song and well remixed as well. Madhushree sung the song in pretty manner. Though I hate its video but still the audio is superb.
R D Burman composed the song and Lataji sung the song originally and reminds the golden era of music when composers actually want and work hard in order to produce a quality product.
- Mere Naseeb Main
Baby Doll remixes are mostly fast tracks but this time they choose a slow pace song and remixed it very well. Selection and use of instruments is very good and it attracts and appeals to its first hearing and one wants more of it.
Originality is unmatchable and the original version of the song is sweetest as the composer know what he wanted to give through this tune and he is the only one who can do the best justice to the song. Laxmikant Pyarelal composed the song and the song is from the movie Naseeb.
- Leke Pehla Pehla Pyar
The song is remixed hundreds of times and all time it is become prettier and I like its remixed version in which there is no chorus and Harmonium is used. The rearranged version is enchanting and fresh as 50s come alive.
O P Nayyar composed the song. Harmonium use and the variations in original version are worth listening. If you get the neat tape of this song you will be able to listen the original version very clearly and then only you can enjoy that version but its remixed version is also very good.
Remixes are becoming a trend and with increasing need of these remixes Music Directors are making music with two versions in their albums and we can have every song with its two or more versions. This is good but as it is said that “Too many cooks spoil the broth” same is the case here remixes are good to an extent but they are also negative impact on music face .
Thanks
