Hunks of Hollywood

  1. Nicolas Cage

Nicolas Coppola was born on January 7, 1964 in California.

Nicolas’ acting debut was as a ’boy on the beach’ in ’’The Best of Times’’ TV Premiere, along with his buddy, Crispin Glover. Nicolas then landed a role opposite Matt Dillon in Francis Coppola’s ’’Rumblefish.’’ Having to fight the ’image’ that he only got the part because his uncle was the director…and wanting to prove that he could do it on his own led Nicolas to the decision to officially change his name in 1983 to Nicolas Cage. ’Cage’ was chosen both for the composer John Cage, and the underdog comic book hero, Luke Cage.

Nicolas started his film career in 1982 with The Best of Times.

His most memorable performances include Moonstruck, Time to Kill, Amos and Andrew, It Could Happen to You, The Rock, Con Air, Face Off, Snake Eyes, 8 mm.

He was absolutely awesome in City of Angels.

  1. Mel Gibson

Born on January 3, 1956 in New York, Mel started his film career in 1977 with Summer City and in the last twenty five years has worked in more than 50 films.

The best of his work includes the Lethal Weapon series, The Man Without A Face, Braveheart, Maverick, Ransom, What Women Want, Bird on a Wire.

Mel has done films of almost all kind of genres. Not exceptionally talented but definitely a great-looking guy. In fact one of the best.

  1. Arnold Schwarzenegger

Arnold was born in Austria and as a child was encouraged by his father to become involved in athletics. At age 15 he discovered body-building that led to the title of Mr Universe at age 20. Followed by an unprecedented 13 world body-building titles. He became an US citizen in 1983.

His blockbuster films include The Terminator, Terminator 2:Judgment Day, Twins, Total Recall, Eraser and True Lies. His earlier films were the you-tarzan-me-jane kinds.

A weird choice for one of the best actors, but from being a wooden non-actor, Arnold has with conscious effort tried to be a performer. And ended up doing films like Junior and Twins which no one else would have.

  1. Brad Pitt

Brad was born on December 18, 1963 in Oklahoma.

With his first film in 1987, Brad has come a long way. Making his debut with No Man’s Land he went on to work in Too Young to Die, Thelma and Louise, A River Runs Through It, The Contact, Kalifornia, Seven, Twelve Monkeys, Sleepers, Seven Years in Tibet, Meet Joe black, Fight Club, Snatch, The Mexican and the latest being Ocean’s Eleven.

Brad has never cashed on his good looks. He has always done films that had roles with some meat; substantial roles.

Is married to the friends star Jennifer Aniston.

Has been given the title ’The Sexiest Man’ in 2000 by the People Magazine.

  1. Michael Douglas

Michael was born on September 25, 1944 in New Jersey. He was lucky to be born as the son of the very famous Kirk Douglas.

He started his career in 1966 in a film called Cast a Giant Shadow in the role of a jeep driver; a very insignificant role.

The high points of his career are Fatal Attraction, Basic Instinct, Black Rain, Disclosure, A Perfect Murder, Traffic, Don’t Say a Word – being the last release.

Michael has got recognition mostly with controversial films based around the taboos.
