Animation at its Best

I can remember watching these animated programs on Saturdays when I was a child. Saturdays is cartoon day, and many children in America are clued to their TV’s watching every cartoon there is on TV. Many of these animated programs have gone Hollywood/movies. Many of these programs don’t come on regular TV any more I now watch them on cable TV. I still find my self laughing, and enjoying these programs as I did when I was a child. What a way to relive your childhood right? those were the good old days of animation. Here is my most memorable, and treasured list of the five best animated movies.

1. ’’101 Dalmations’’ released in 1961, and brought to us by Walt Disney. In this delightful, and zany tale a family of puppies are born. A wicked woman, Cruellla De Vil plans to kill the puppies for the purpose of making fur coats out of their fur. The adventure, and artistic animation is exciting in this movie. I especially loved the unity of the animals when alerting each other of a good defense against Cruella De Vil, and her buddies, the puppy thieves.

2. ’’Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’’ released in 1937 in this delightful tale of fantasy brought to us by Walt Disney an evil, ugly, and jealous Queen poisons a soon to be Princes by giving her a poisoned apple. Well, the story goes on when Snow white is given the apple; she dies until a handsome Prince kisses her, and brings her back to life. This story has a delightful ending.

3. ’’The Rescuers’’ released in 1979 and brought to us by Walt Disney. This story is about a little orphaned girl who’s kidnapped by Madame Medusa, a mean-spirited woman who’s goal is to find a lost diamond. Madame Medusa uses children for her own selfish endeavors in this movie. The lost little girl sends a message in a bottle of her kidnapping to The Rescue Aid Society. The Rescue Aid Society is a team of two mice Bianca, and Bernard their job is to rescue those from danger. The voices of Eva Gabor and Bob Newhart adds a wonderful boost of humor, and warmth to this lovely animated tale.

4. ’’Bugs Bunny/ Road Runner the Movie’’ released in 1979 brought to us by Warner Brothers. This outstanding movie is an anthology of the best animated adventures of Bugs Bunny, the Coyote, and the Road Runner. In each adventure the Road Runner, and the Coyote is on a cat and mouse chase. The Coyote wants to catch, and eat the Road Runner, a fast running ostrich. Will the Road Runner ever get caught by the Coyote this adventure is endless, and enjoyable to watch.

5. ’’The Pink Panther’’ released in 1969 and originally produced for TV, and later became a children’s movie on the big screen. Peter Sellers who originally played Inspector Crouseau in the animated version went on to feature in the non-animated version of the Pink Panther. In this animated movie the main character is a Pink Panther with a laughable personality of an Aristocrat, his walk, and mannerism as it often coincided with the music is what I found very funny along with the movie’s main plot. The Pink Panter always became very defiant of humans, and animals that defied his exitance. His final dilemma’s were also very funny, and laughable.

There you have it folks this is artsed’s selection of the best animated movies of all times. Other great animated movies are:

’’The Adventures of Wallace & Gromit’’

’’The Grinch That Stole Christmas’’

’’Charlie Brown the Movie’’

’’Cinderalla’’

’’Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer’’
