Who said toons are for kids ... watch these movies .. and I bet you would roll on the floor laughing...
ICE AGE:- Gem of humour .. this movie had great elements of comedy .. the characters are a sloth .. a mammoth .. a saber tooth tiger ... a baby .. the story goes like this ... the animals are all moving south to avoid the ICE AGE ... humans have moved too ... the group of saber tooth tigers have attacked them to take away a baby as a revenge .. but some how the baby is missing .. then they decide on sending a saber to find it ... now mammoth is a character ... with voice of woody allen ... now story is told .. is it ?? you have to watch the movie now ... I will discuss some scenes though ... the baby is hungry and then they spot a melon ... then some dodo’s take the melon ... now what ensues is a fight for the three remaining melons on earth !!! that sequence is very good ... so is the movie entirely ... a squirrel sort of animal is out burying a nut ... the last one .. and when ever it tries to do that .. things just go wrong.
THE LION KING :- The movie that started it all ... the craze .. the depth of animation .. attracting the biggest voices in hollywood ... good story .. this movie had it all.
FINDING NEMO:- Who says you cant potray emotions in animation .. watch this movie and you would agree with me that emotions are very well shown.... The story is about a lil fish who has a deformed fin .... and his cowardly dad... the fish is suddenly missing .. and his father is out to find him .. meanwhile ... the lil fish is trapped in an aquarium where there are many more fishes who plan to escape one day ... here the lil fish learns how to fight disability ... indeed a good story and great animation.
SHREK:- ’’ we ogre’s are like onions... we are have different layers...’’ .... ’’ and you stink like them too... ’’ The conversation between a mean green ogre and an annoying talking donkey. The ogre is out to rescue a princess for a ’’BIG’’ king .. who has forced all animals into a swamp .. which is his .. so in order to reclaim his swamp he has to now rescue the princess. The princess however is cursed ... and she turns into an ogre every night. A very good love story .. with greatly timed impregnated humour.
SHREK 2:- A fitting sequel to shrek .. its time to visit the inlaws...
and those that couldnot make it... final fantasy, TITAN A.E, shark’s tale.... polar express .. and others...
