We have a lot of great indipop songs in India. Sometimes its great to listen to indipop songs, as oppose to Film Music. But not all indipop songs are funky and dancey, like Anamika’s Intezaar or Alisha’s Made In India, both tracks I really love.
There’s also your general sweet indipop song like Ankhon Mein Tera Hi Chehra Aryans or Jaanam Samjha Karo Asha Bhonsle, another 2 indipop songs i’m in love with. Today, we’re gonna explore the side of indipop which people pass over, the soft, sentimental, thought-provoking side. The side that sometimes gets lost between the numbers.the side which i’m in love with.

A sweet indipop Track from the sweet-voiced singer Falguni Pathak. This is a very soothing, calming track which really lifts your spirits through its calmness. It makes you smile, its so innocent, so pure.This track is a definite one to listen to. If you haven’t heard it, I urge you to check it out! The music is absolutely brilliant. Its a nice one to dance to also, if you’re planning to do a smooth dance(believe me, I used it in an expression competition a few years ago and won!)

Probably one of the most tragic and heartbreaking, yet one of the best indipop songs ever. This is definitely one of my favourites. Don’t watch the video unless you want to cry(again, talking with experience)! The lyrics of this are hauntingly depressing.(currently my MSN screen name).and they will make u cry! I am guaranteeing it! Please listen to it! Lucky Ali sounds soulful and heartbroken throughout this track!

Another haunting, thought provoking track, this time from Shaan. Shaan sounds brilliant in this track, which will really make you think. The lyrics are nice, the music is beautiful. This song is a legendary indipop song and is absolutely brilliant!

This is another thought provoking, slow track which i’m in love with. The slow music really give off a lovely vibe.whether we are alive tomorrow or not.we will remember these moments.these moments of love.come with me.where I go., this really is a beautiful track! Go listen to it!

At first, I wasn’t sure whether I should include this or not, because I wasn’t sure if it was an indipop track or not. However, after numerous minutes of research, i’ve found out that it is! This is a beautiful track from Pankaj Udhas, another slow soulful one! Its music is beautiful.its lyrics are amazing.just generally this track is one of the greatest! Also, the video is absolutely brilliant(probably one of the most innocent videos i’ve seen) - the days when I liked Sameera Reddy!
