Shahrukh Khan has been one of the best actors Bollywood has ever seen. I think that the following are his best movies. I can’t think about Bollywood without this man.
1) KABHIE HAAN KABHIE NAA
A beautiful love story with comedy, emotions and compassion. We can’t get a better family movie like this. Shahrukh’s performance had been memorable and the leading actress (I don’t know her name) has put up a good performance too. The movie is about a guy who is trying to impress a girl with a lots of lies and a small amount of truth. A really touching storey indeed. The script and natural acting by all makes this movie one of its kind.
2) BAAZIGAR
This is one of the first Shahrukh Khan movies I had seen years ago. I have to say that I was impressed with him in the very first time. He plays the negative role (not completely negative) very well. He was well supported by Kajol and Shilpa Shetty. This movie takes unexpected twist and turns in the middle which keeps the viewers tied to their seats. I think that it was after seeing this movie that my interest on Hindi movies increased. I had been seeing Malayalam and English movies before that.
3) DARR
Another negative character of Shahrukh. This time it is completely negative. Sunny Deol’s performance as the leading actor was overshadowed by the excelent performance by Shahrukh. I think that some factors of this movie has similiarities with Baazigar. Juhi Chawla had acted with Shahrukh in lots of movies including this one and they make a good team. Even the name of the movie puts some interest in the viewers. This is one of the best ever released.
4) KARAN ARJUN
This movie may be featuring second life which is not accepted widely. But I like this movie as it shows a mothers love for his children. Shahrukh has given an excellent performance and overshadowed Salman Khan almost completely. Kajol and Mumta Kulkarni also has done their work really well. With some beautiful songs and comedy along with some suspense added, this movie is really worth a watch. I have seen this one almost ten times till now.
5) ZAMANA DEEWANA
There had been a lot of stories featuring two families hating each other and the children loving each other. Shahrukh with Raveena Tandon has given some interesting performances in this movie. Anupam Kher has given the movie a difference by his evergreen acting. The plot is good, but could have a little better. The comedy is good as well as the songs. There is also the action factor in the game which the viewers can’t avoid.
