It is also a difficult topic lot of Punjabi music is coming out these days and choosing just five will be not only difficult but simply impossible. What I did here is choose five different artists and five songs from each of them. I know it is hard to digest but problem is that I like many songs so here goes my trial.

Sukhbir is having restricted audience but with his gesture to combine with a Pakistani Singer Shahzad Roy, the popularity is increased. The songs I mentioned are very good ones and above all Sukhbir has a unique style that if you listen his one song and some other one of him you can clearly identify that his style is different from other Punjabi singers.

Though most of Punjabi songs are not original as they are inspired or totally recreated by old Folk songs but thanks to these people who are recreating the gems and we are able to admire the folk music with the blend of today’s popular music.
