My first post to this site is not about a particular restaurant but about a website. Few days ago I had received a forward from a dear friend about a website called https://hungrybangalore.com and as I do to most other forwards.gave a short glance and forgot about it.
Few days later we decided to celebrate a get together and the same dear friend had an innovative idea. "lets order food online." we had a long discussion but finally all aquiesced. and we logged on to the above site. searched for a restaurant in our area(koramangala) found few chose one and placed the order.ofcourse none of us were sure whether the food would ever come. but we were really surprised when we were presented with steaming hot food in exactly 25minutes( much less than the time we took to decide upon the order).
All of us including ofcourse me were really impressed. I would like to point our some of the benifits of the website:
1> one gets to choose from a number of restaurants without worrying about how crowded the place is.
2> Ofcourse one does not need to wade and swim or roll.over a pool of vehicles to reach the joint.
3> The entire menu is online with descriptions for items for some restaurants and ofcourse the price of each item.
4> There are also options to order for take away and dine in(order food and book table). I have not had a chance to try these options.as I would rather prefer to eat at home rather than a over crowded restaurant.
5> It has a feature where it informs people about restaurants taking party orders and out door catering.
The drawbacks:
1> There are around 50 restaurants on the website.some areas are left oncovered, but I guess it should happen pretty soon.
I guess thats it. so visit https://hungrybangalore.com and enjoy ordering online. the forwarded mail I had received had a quote. "ease the traffic order online":) I go by this statement.
