High Five- Redone

It is a rather funny thing, the previous review. It was more like a debacle to be honest. I have been enjoying the seat of a very purposeful writer so far, at least so I believe, and I suppose the previous piece of junk, I daresay, did push me off it a bit. I am hopeful however, that this redoing of the review will do a little good to putting me back on the seat. However, before I begin, let me confess. I shall not be writing about the writers I mentioned as the’best five’ in the comments part of this review. Let me give you a list of the best five writers that I feel, without making too much of a mess of it.

However before I start, let me give my heart-felt thanks to a friend of mine on MS who left a message behind the earlier review that contained the line’You are the best reviewer on MS!’. I shall do better in future to deserve that epithet.

The Review At Last

It is difficult for me to give you too much of justification or description of the members’ names that feature in this review of mine. Difficult to describe because they are after all the best and the best are best untouched. As I state in an earlier review of mine, ’the most beautiful thing that can exist on this earth is that which has never been touched by human hands since in human touch lies an arrogance, and in his humility even more so.’ It is also unfair of me to speak so much about them. Unfair in the sense, there is a very-very high chance that there are writers far superior to them on MS that I have not read. And therefore it will not be very fair of me to call them the best. This of course, comes with my hypthesis that these reasons will be comparisons mostly and therefore unfair.

The Best Five- order not significant

For a very long time I had the feeling that I’d forgotten something important in this review. I couldn’t get what it was but every time I thought of it, I felt it and the feeling was getting stronger. I realized it today, though! I’d forgotten Mandy!

Mandy is one of the most versatile writers on this community. She writes reviews that have the exactly ideal mix of humour, purposefulness and seriousness. Her reviews are interesting to read and very useful at the same time! Not many reviewers here can strike that balance, mind you. Hats of to you girl! Yeah we can surely trust you!

I don’t know how many of you like her so much as I do. Though I am never particularly active in reading here, which makes me a bad MS-member, I liked Leah very much by reading just half a dozen of her reviews. I like her way of putting things. I don’t know what that is, but probably it?s the choice of words and everything else that is associated with it that gives an appeal to her writings. Again, I should not speak much about her, because a virtuoso must be respected by lesser mortals like me. Read her reviews to appreciate.

Juggernaut

No, this is not a joke. I am sure somewhere in your mind you do think I am a good writer in myself. This time, I will give you strong reasons for naming myself her, braggaddocio as it sounds. For one, every review of Juggernaut is consistent with previous reviews under the same category in their own way. Juggernaut’s reviews on automobiles for example, have a strict pattern and they discuss the aspects of those vehicles in that pattern only with little deviation. It makes his reviews more orderly, more analytical. Juggernaut has, in general, a more organized way of writing which should be appreciated. Also, his hypothesis are relatively uniform. His reviews aren’t one thing here and another elsewhere. He gives references to his earlier reviews, in a way indicating his concentration and dedication in writing here.

Deepshikha

Deepshikha has this chatty style of writing which makes her reviews interesting. I became an instant fan of hers with her debate on the War on Iraq. She has this conversational style of writing, or that is the feeling I get when I read them, that hooks the reader to the review till it’s over. Though I SUed it myself for being off the track, she proved her ability to write humour through her tips on preparing for interviews.

An additional good thing about her is that her profile is pleasantly done as well. It’s in fact one of the best profiles on the website among those I have seen. Well done Dee!

For a long while I considered Raj as one of the medioce one-mode writers who can write only the overdone humour that some of our’creative’ reviewers do and I better apologize to him for it! I was absolutely, completely wrong. Truth is, that, Raj is another example of a versatile writer who can be serious when it’s necessary, purposefull when it’s needed and humourous at the same time.

Hats of to you buddy!

As a Postscript

I don’t know how the redoing of this review has been and am perfectly aware that I might have not been just to my own image here as well. But I am sure you will accept that this review is an improvement over the previous one, for sure.

Let me, for once, make it clear that naming myself here is not self-praise at all. Analytically, if you do review me as a product, you will come out with a lot of good things in me in addition to the bad things. I do deserve being called a good writer here which is why I named myself.

Disagreements to that are natural and of course your opinions. I am sure you have read much more than me, which is one folly I would have rather done without, and you know much better about who’s who. But of course you will all agree that four out of five names here are undoubtedly very good writers. My name can be made an exception.

I apologize to Lyla whose name has been removed from this list for reasons I coose not to divulge just here.
