Whoever suggested this topics did pose a big challenge to all the members here, but I think he is a big miser, why only5 boy?Anyway, I am gonna deviaten make a list of memorable revus, rather than just sticking it to 5, kindly adjust. This revu can be considered more or less examples for my previous revu which was on, Writing revus on MS.Lemme start, but hey, Ive restricted my comments for thesen I wud like u to check out the revus, before rating:
Movies:
1) Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham by SarahA: Some of the best movie revus on MS r inspired by worst movies. U will know what I mean if u can try out this revu . There r equally ripping revus on the same by teena_srin suyog.
2) AKS by Koshish: This revu took me by total surprise, n the most innovativen whacky one so far Ive read on MS.
3) Pyar tune kya kiya by Bpin: Hmm.surprised? This revu totally violates all the basics of revu writing .Some may find the revu more offending than the movie, but give this a try with a bit of open mind, ull find that such crappy movies deserve such revus.
Travel:
Calcutta by Venchasa: I may never have to travel to Calcutta to experience the city of joy after reading this one.Check out his other revu on Hell Freezes over, sarcastic humour at its very best.
Beverages:
1) Malibu Rum by achougoo: This guy has way with his words, doesnt matter whatz the topic.Anyway I was intoxicated after reading this revu.
2)Pepsi by just_did_it: I always wondered as to whatz this big fuss abt effect of soft drinks on health. This revu seems to read my mind, n hisepilogue seems to sum up this predicament, in just the right way.
Bikes:
1)TVS Suzuki Fiero by mudeth :A classic eg of how to revu a bike . Imagining this to be the first revu from a member who has just joined MS stumped me initally.
PC Games:
1) Return to Castle Wolfenstien by Loverboy: A very passionate revun I wanted to play the game after I read it, well thatz what I call an inspiring revu.DO read the revu for ur share of inspiration.
Cricket:
Oh god, mother of all battles in MS has been fought over this issuen Ive gained a couple of swearing enemies(well thatz exactly the word) here over the very issue. If u dont belive me, check out the warring comments over Ganguly at:https://mouthshut.com/readcomment.php?rid=15288&r=1 .I believe the author(srinivasan) had a ball with so many comments.Anyway but the pick of the cricketing revus is by teena_sri onCricket .
Advisesn other social issues::
1)Choosing the right career by Jilmil: Wise words of wisdomn any advice u want just surf in here from stress to reiki to weight loss to u name it.
2) Being successful at interviews by Suyog: Suyog here seems to be making a desperate plea to everyone to stop giving the obvious advises(am I right?)n this revu is completely laced with humourn I was totally taken by surprise until I reacehd the last line.
3) Choosing gifts for a wife by Venugopalanv:The predicament of buying a giftn the humour, makes this revu a laugh riot. Check out the ending of the story( not a revu.)
4)Do beauty contests bring out the beauty of a person by Surinder :A hot topic soemtime back, but this revu I believe put the things in just that right realistic perspective.
5)Tips for Writing the Perfect CV by sujay_marthi: A revu in a classic mouldn a perfect 10 revu considering all the aspects right from presentation to formatting, n importantly with just the right tips for anyone.
SO here r the nominees I want u to pick the winners, I am just a very poor judge!
