He has so many names, KK, Kay Kay, Kay Kay Menon, Krishna Kumar formally, he is often confused with a same name donned by a movie actor recently featured in movie CORPORATE.
He caught my attention when he gave a sit-up performance in HUM DIL DE CHUKE SANAM, this song tadap tadap.was a rage when came in 1999.This song was highly appreciated even when that movie had so many good numbers by established Kumar Sanu etc.
One of his great songs is in movie MAACHIS which is chod aaye hum woh galiyan.off course accompanied by equally great Hariharan and Suresh Wadekar, but still this song to his credit is a fairly good one.
Recent number from movie GANGSTER is also good which is tu hi meri shab hai., it has excellent lyrics and he has complimented it well.
I am confused now to name which song as 4th as there are so many good songs by him, but another sad song by him of movie ROG is just great which goes as maine dil se kaha.sung with great expression.
I am still confused which one to name as 5th, well.I have two songs in mind.one is from DIL CHAHTA HAI.which is koi kahe kehta rahe.this song has too two more accompanying singers, but still its a good song to his credit.
Another song I must name is-
O hum dum suniyo re .from SAATHIYA.
He is a very talented singer and will go a long way.if his voice is used for good music.
