I had posted this review in the wrong category previously - Golden Collections of Neeraj, whereas this is where I wanted this to be.
When I was in my college(back in the year early 90’s) we use to read the poetry of Great Poet Neeraj whose Original name is Gopaldas’Neeraj’. He was born on 8th February 1926.
He has written a lot many Poems and songs in the Hindi Movies, recently I came across a very good program on FM based on this legendary poet. I had seen him reciting Hindi poetry in good old days on our national DD channel; I liked the way he used to recite the poem. I am not sure if you have ever seen him reciting the song no.1 in the following list. He does it so well that I can’t explain it. Well, it was many years back.
That program did remind me of those days and the songs he has written, here I am submitting the best fives.
These are not rankings.
I am unable to provide any kind of explanations of the songs as how they have filmed the songs in the movies since I have not seen these movies in the recent past nor the songs. But I am sure that many of you would have seen these movies and will definitely remember the sequences.
