Five movies which deserved to be hits

Herapheri, Andaaz Apna Apna, Mission Kashmir, Aankhen and Khamoshi.. these are the five films which deserved to be a hit, but unfortunately could not make it at the so called ’box-office’.

HERAPHERI was an extravaganza which showed the sparkling talent of ’Paresh Rawal’, who was accompanied with Akshay Kumar and Sunil Shetty. The film lacked the mainstream ’masala’, the film wasn t accepted. But when it comes to a good comedy in recent years, I am sure that HERAPHERI tops the list.

ANDAAZ APNA APNA is yet another hilarious movie where Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Shakti Kapoor just make you laugh tearing your sides apart! The film had a strong background score, and the comedy which went more towards the ’farce’ side.

MISSION KASHMIR is a musical film, (I know ppl wont like me calling this action thriller as a musical film) but the film has a strong side of music which is accompanied by thrilling action sequences and brilliant performances by Hritik Roshan and Sanjay Dutt.

AANKHEN was a brave project, an attempt to do something different. Superb plot of the story, brave performances.. Aankhen was the best thriller ever made in India! I especially love the ’DANGEROUS GAME BEGINS’ song!!!

Last but not at all the least, KHAMOSHI was yet another gem which was left unnoticed. The Sanjay Leela Bhansali film speaks off an aspiring singer and her mute parents... The film has brilliant performance by Nana Patekar.

These are the five films which deserved to be a hit, but unfortunately could not.. our love and affection for these films are not going to be affected by that.. they are going to turn out as classics, epitomising current Indian cinema!!!
