[It’s my holiday today, that’s why I am writing so much]

This review, won’t be useful to anybody. Yet I just want to tell these people out there to watch these movies.

===

I just couldn’t choose 5 movies. It’s too difficult... There are so many good movies I have seen and loved but bombed at the box office...

It is a must see! Totally! It’s heartbreaking to see that majority people like crap films instead of:

Teen Deewarein:

A Hinglish film, about three men in prison about to be executed/on death row. A woman wants to make a documentary on them to know the insides of a prisoner. Slowly, and day by day we learn something new about these characters and how they all connect to each other. Nagesh Kukunoor, what a writer. I want to see more movies of his, such as ’’Hyderabad Blues’’ & ’’Rockford’’. Hey if ’’3 Walls’’ was amazing, then his previous work would have been good also! The story he has written was completely different and some people said it had similar angles from ’’The Shawshank Redemption’’. Yet it had the total different perspective to it, and instead a female actor who plays a filmmaker was included in this film. Naseeruddin Shah stole my heart in this film [and afterwards I became a fan of his and watched other good movies of his], and Jackie Shroff was fantastic (I never liked him). I’m starting to think Juhi Chawla is a good actress especially with her famous line telling her abusive, drunk, worthless husband in the movie, - ’’If you ever hurt me, I will burn you’’.. That scene was mesmerizing. Nagesh Kukunoor acted well also yet I think he is more suitable as a director/writer. For the first time I liked Gulshan Grover! He was so sober and he was so good in this movie! All these characters from this film were totally different from what they usually do in commercialized Hindi films, and that’s what I liked about them, there was another shade of them. This is definately not suitable for children, since it contains bad language, a man being raped by a homosexual (very disturbing) and some dialogues other prisoners say. MY RATING: 10/10

Akele Hum Akele Tum

My favourite movie! The one who steals the show was Master Adil, who played Sunil or ’’Suno’’ in the movie. Usually, we see Hindi movies ending are where the hero and heroine get married. Then I thought to myself, what happens to them after marraige? You never know... Because usually in Hindi films, the topic is the way to get the guy and girl together with using new plot lines or whatsoever. This movie answers to my question. In the beginning, it showed the usual stuff of Aamir Khan and Manisha Koirala liking each other, dating each other and where Manisha’s parents say ’no’ about this. But then, they elope and get married and stays at Rohit’s [Aamir] house. They do the usual husband/wife daily routine. But, we come to know that before the two got married, they love music and singing, and both hope for the future on being successful. After marraige, they seem to have a bit of competition, and it includes that Rohit begins to ignore Kiran [Manisha] more after she gave birth to their son. Kiran, continously tells Rohit to give a music director or anyone in music business her demo tape. Rohit becomes concerned and come up with excuses, that he did not hear the demo tape to see if its good or not, or how she should be taking care of their son. When this fight occurs, it changes their relationship obviously. Kiran, being fed up with her life decides to leave her husband and son to get a better life. They divorce, and yet later on they both want custody of thier child. I have not included all the details of the movie, but the people who have not seen it should go see it, because it is a simple love story yet sad at the same time on how relationships are built, broken and fixed later on. MY RATING: 9/10

Andaz Apna Apna - You Must Not Eat Popcorn While Watching This Movie!. A non-stop laughing parade if I may call it, on how two mischevious boys, Aamir & Salman Khan try to woo the rich girl. This movie, makes fun of B’Wood stars, movies, and each other. MY RATING: 9.5/10

Ab Tak Chappan - Released in 2004, Nana Patekar’s best. Ram Gopal Varma’s film on high-class police officers on tracking down all the underworld dons. MY RATING: 9.5/10

Samay: When Time Strikes - Sushmita Sen, playing an ACP, Malvika Chauhan investigating a murder on people who are being killed by an unusual person. It’s a mystery in which I enjoyed, and especially when there is a strong woman role. MY RATING: 9/10
