After a decade, I have seen such a tremendous movie. I thoroughly enjoyed it and advocate other to watch. I have picked this movie because of its main theme how 2 teenage suffering from cystic fibrosis fall in love, albeit they must maintain a 6 feet distance for their safety.
Story begins with a girl named Stella who followed strict routines on contrast Will, boy of her age suffering same illness to whom she fall in love, doesn’t care about it. As the story progresses, we meet another teenage named Poe, best friend of Stella, who also suffering from same illness and they really enjoyed each others company. After the death of Poe, Stella’s heart was filled with terror of dying and she was avoiding Will for it. The heartbreaking moment was when Stella was lying on the bed, watch Will for the last time. The conversation between them melting me in tears, it shows the adamantine bond between them.
Atlast Stella said "we need that touch from the one we love, as much as we need breathe. Life is too short to waste a second". It was the most heart touching lines in this movie and I’m aure you will also agree with her when you watched this movie till the end.
It shows us the hard actuality that at last we all die, but we shouldn’t limit ourselves for that and should explore the possibilities we might achieve.
I’m taking this lines from one of the comments that says "I need a friend like Poe, and a lover like Will". I also fell the same.
