Well when it comes to gifts my eyes brighten up. Anyone loves to get gifts?. The gift is not that important as much as the feeling behind the gift is. imagine the happiness you get when a small kid makes a card himself/herself with some sun water or scenery, it?s a best gift anyone receives. The gift has taken so much of efforts and feelings of that little one. Hence we must look at the idea of giving gift rather than the gift itself.
Let me come to the point. Gifts should be simple and creative. I look for creativity and innovation, presentation and feelings when it comes to gifting.
I would love to get some feminine gifts more than any other things. Being fond of dressing up I like jewelry, accessories like handbag, hairclips, wallet, cosmetics?aha lipsticks, makeup anything guys. Yes I forgot dress, salwar kameez, sarees are my favouries, jeans, a top? whatever. Don?t end up giving a mini skirt to a saree draper. I would love even when someone gifts me smallest of things. Cost is not important for me. Sometimes when my friends get me an earring I am happy. So here you can see that you should look for what the person likes.
Another one being flowers?. wow I just love them. It maybe a single rose or some colourful flower. I simply love it.
Kiss(this is only from my beloved) which I would love. And which is the best thing I ever want and always want.
Soft toys are another favourite. I have got lots of them as gifts from my love, even my friends. Remember its good only when someone likes it and another point is that don?t give the same gift again and again?. Too much of same gift may have another meaning. Like when you give a perfume always it gives out wrong signals and the receiver may not like it. Similarly soft toys may seem that you are too kiddy.
Cards are also a good way to express what you feel and a very good gift to receive. Its personal and can be innovative and creative. I also love homemade gifts like candles, paper bags, showpieces, homemade cards etc.
Books are another favourite. One must always know the person whom they give books as gift. That is to be sure about their choice of subject, business, romance, fiction, thrill etc. do you want to end up giving a thriller book to a fun loving person? If it?s your beloved romantic book is good enough, for a friend you may give in book of his interest. Be sure you know the person before choosing book as a gift.
I would not like gifts too personal from someone who is not close. Like I wouldn?t like feminine gifts from colleagues, nor any flowers. They should restrict themselves to a greeting card or watch or some showpiece. I would appreciate just a card also.
Don?t ever think the worth of a gift think how the other person will like it. Choose gift which best reflects your feelings for the other person. The gift people like are close to what they are and what their relationship with the giver is. So use your gifting skills and make someone happy today. Dont forget that smile while you gift someone. it brightens up someones day!
